Jack Valenti may be dead and buried, but even from the great beyond he seems to be working his particular brand of lunacy. It seems that there’s a hex number floating around that unlocks the encryption code for High Density DVDs. We can argue all day as to the rights and wrongs of this but as far as the law is concerned this is very much a big no-no.

If there’s one thing we’ve always said it’s that Estonians are the hippest cats in the world. We certainly didn’t any further evidence of this but then the Estonian bank, SEB went ahead and told its customers they could put any image they liked on their credit card. So Mr. Otto de Voogd being the king of hip Estonians went ahead and got all Firefox on it. I’m sure Hicks is beaming with pride.

We’ve tried our share of earbuds that claim to reduce ambient noise, but Japanese company, Nap Enterprise are taking things a step further by producing the InCore Microphone. These earbuds actually picks up speach from the ear rather than the mouth.

Looks like Ebay is rolling out some widgets that will allow users to embed information about listings straight into their own pages. We could tell you more but why bother when Mr. Scoble can fill you in on all the details:
